Do Uber/Deliveroo accept online certificates?

I don't have an employer — why would I need a certificate?
Certificates serve multiple purposes beyond employer leave: platform compliance for Uber and Deliveroo, income protection insurance claims, Centrelink mutual obligation evidence, and professional documentation for clients when deadlines slip.
Will the certificate show my diagnosis?
No. It confirms you were assessed by a doctor and found unfit for work. No diagnosis, no symptoms, no clinical details.
Can I use this for a Centrelink mutual obligation exemption?
A medical certificate can support your case for a temporary exemption from mutual obligations. Contact your Centrelink provider to confirm what documentation they require.
Does this work for income protection insurance claims?
Most income protection insurers require a medical certificate as evidence of inability to work. Our certificates include all standard details — doctor name, provider number, dates, and assessment.
Can I get a certificate for a mental health day?
Yes. Gig work isolation and income uncertainty take a real toll. Mental health is a valid reason for a certificate. The nature of your condition stays private.
Are these certificates valid under the Fair Work Act?
Yes. If you are later found to be an employee rather than a contractor, a certificate provides evidence of genuine illness. Either way, our certificates meet all legal requirements.
Can I get a multi-day certificate?
Yes. We issue certificates for 1, 2, or 3 days. For longer periods, the doctor may recommend an in-person assessment.
What happens if the doctor declines my request?
You receive a full refund. The doctor may suggest you see a GP in person for further assessment.
