Can I use this for a platform absence record?
You can use the PDF as routine absence evidence, but each platform sets its own documentation rules.
I don't get sick leave - do I still need a certificate?

Will the certificate show my diagnosis?
No. It confirms you were assessed by a doctor and found unfit for work. No diagnosis, no symptoms, no clinical details.
Can I use this for a Centrelink mutual obligation exemption?
Usually not through this short certificate pathway. Centrelink and Services Australia often require specific forms or functional-capacity details from a treating practitioner.
Does this work for income protection insurance claims?
Insurance claims usually need insurer-specific forms, capacity details, or treating-practitioner reports. This pathway is for routine short sick-leave evidence only.
Can I get a certificate for a mental health day?
Yes. Gig work isolation and income uncertainty take a real toll. Mental health is a valid reason for a certificate. The nature of your condition stays private.
Are these certificates valid under the Fair Work Act?
A certificate can support a routine personal-leave record if employment law applies to your situation. The final assessment sits with the employer, platform, or relevant decision-maker.
Can I get a multi-day certificate?
Yes. We issue certificates for 1, 2, or 3 days. For longer periods, the doctor may recommend an in-person assessment.
What happens if the doctor declines my request?
Full refund if the doctor declines. The doctor may suggest you see a GP in person for further assessment.
